Services

Initial Consultations

Initial consultations (15 minutes) are free by phone and available to new clients.  This consultation provides an opportunity to ask questions, review options, and determine the best path forward to meet the needs of your child and family.

Evaluations

A formal evaluation allows for the development of a profile of strengths and challenges related to fine motor skills, play, behaviors, self-help, sensory processing, and/or feeding.  They may include but are not limited to standardized assessments, observation, informal measures, caregiver input, child and family health, school and social history, and a review of prior assessment results.  An initial consultation can provide information regarding the expected time and cost of a formal evaluation.  Following the evaluation, you will receive a detailed report and we can review the results and recommendations together.

In-Person
Occupational Therapy (OT) Sessions

Is your child struggling with regulation, fine motor skills, engaging in play, behavioral challenges, or self-help tasks?  Do you suspect that your child has sensory processing differences?  If so, your child could benefit from occupational therapy services.  Occupational therapy helps to understand the "why" behind a child's needs and behaviors.  An occupational therapist addresses differences in skills and sets up environmental supports or task modifications to help children thrive while participating in their daily activities.  Sessions conclude with a consultation with the child’s parent or caregiver, discussing progress, strategies and activities to utilize at home.

Session Fees (see FAQs for further payment information)

  • 60 minutes: $105

In-Person Feeding Therapy Sessions

Is your child a "picky eater"?  Are mealtimes a source of stress for your family?  If so, your child may benefit from feeding therapy.  Children thrive when eating is safe, social, and meaningful.  Eating skills can emerge when a child is comfortable around food, and therapy sessions can help a child learn to trust food and those feeding them and then explore foods in fun and meaningful ways.  Our sessions aim to help a child and family develop a healthy relationship with food, make mealtimes enjoyable, and uncover and address the many underlying reasons behind feeding differences using responsive and child-led approaches.
